These four hand books were written in the late 1940's. Books are complete except for one book has the back cover missing.
I have the following books.

1 "CLASSIC ILLUSTRATED" No. 55, titled "SILAS MARNER" written by GEORGE ELIOT (reorder slip has been removed from the back cover), original selling price was 15 cents.

1 "CLASSIC ILLUSTRATED" No. 63 titled "THE MAN WITHOUT A COUNTRY" written by EDWARD EVERETT HALE, complete book, sold for 15 cents.

2 "CLASSIC ILLUSTRATED" No. 9 titled "LES MISERABLES" written by VICTOR HUGO" one book is complete and one has the back cover missing, these sold for 15 cents.

All four books for $35.00.
