$850 / 2br - 1000ft2 - responsible housemate wanted (Stuarts Draft)

I'm looking for someone responsible to share a house in the Staunton/Fishersville/Stuarts Draft area. I expect to move from Roanoke to work in a Stuarts Draft pharmacy. I have had good success having roommates in the Roanoke area. With the high cost of housing near Staunton, sharing a place makes sense.
I’m in my 60's, and work as a Pharmacy Tech. I have a very sweet dog. It would be best if you don’t have any pets, but my dog would be happy to receive your love :)
If you would be home a fair amount, you could be responsible for my dog a couple of hours a day on the days that I work, and I could pay more than half of our rent and other expenses.
I don't smoke, drink, or use illegal substances. I would want a housemate who doesn't smoke or use drugs, and who doesn't use alcohol to excess. I am mature, responsible, and kind - you would need to be the same. You also need to have a significant income, from employment or otherwise, so that I can be confident that you can pay your share.
I'd prefer a house as opposed to a condo, etc., so that we can play music and watch videos without worrying about bothering neighbors. I keep regular hours, and don't like the stereo or TV loud. Similarly, you'd need to be quiet after about 10 in the evening, and not play music/TV loud. But I'd rather not fret that we are disturbing someone who lives 1 foot away.
About me: Physically active, love board games, would like to learn more about console games - I have a seldom-used Xbox, enjoy movies. What do you like?
Hoping we could find a good place in the $1200 - $1800 range, and split costs. Maybe starting around July 25th.
