Old-school style archtop with modern performance features.
TV Jones T-Armond "Dyna" pickups. Body is Canadian wild Cherry, with a gloss top, matte finish back and sides. A comfortable custom armrest has been added. The fretboard is 16-inch-radius Richlite composite. Neck is silver leaf Maple, 21 frets, scale length is 24.84", Graph Tech TUSQ nut is 1.72" wide.
Low action: 4/64” treble side, 5/64” bass side. Currently set up with LaBella Jazz flats, 11s, wound 3rd. The tuners are precise and hold tune well. Tuning stability is good, even with moderate Bigsby use. Roller bridge. Intonation is good. The bridge is pinned, so it does not move and you start from the same spot after string changes.
This pretty girl has been loved and played. Normal playwear, finish swirls and small dings; no dangs, breaks or cracks. The guitar is relatively light, a hair over 6 lbs. Robust Canadian build quality with solid materials and hardware. Volume and Tone controls are now amber Ibanez style non slip speed knobs.
A well-worn TRIC case included. These cases are bulky but protect the guitar well and insulate better than a standard hard case if your guitar is in the cold or heat for any time. They also seal in humidipak moisture better than any other case or bag I have used, including G&G and Mono.
These retail at $1619 at Sweetwater, without a case. Check out the 5-star reviews there:
