This kit guitar cost 150.00. I spent about 25 hours sanding, painting and staining plus about 80.00 in needed supplies.
The body is basswood, very light indeed which is great because teles are normally heavy with ash etc. This one weighs 5.4 lbs on the bath scale.
The neck pocket is tight. There are some frets that need leveling, 1-5 as there is buzz, but that can be done with the right tools, which I do not have. Also, I must have done something wrong with the wiring as the pickups are dead. Most people replace for better pickups on kits. Wilkenson has good alnico pups on Amazon at a very fair price.
I'll even include the containers of the body paint and the amber stain for the neck.
For the right person, this is a steal and a good platform to tinker with. I don't have the time or inclination as I have a very ill family member to tend to. My loss is your gain. Must pick up at my house, cash only. Thanks
