I have had this guitar in a nonsmoking home. It plays fast and smooth. Everything works perfectly and the setup is sweet for easy playability. I have a very basic gig bag that’ll come with it. There is one nick on the upper bout which I tried to get a picture of and the upper bout finish has some unevenness and scuffing which you can see if you look at the right angle and light. Once you are strapped up and playing you won’t notice anything. It is so comfortable to play. I have become primarily an acoustic drummer these days.
Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-light weight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor in producing our lively, responsive instruments that are rich in harmonics.
The passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil, or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips!
