It’s stamped USD on the back of the headstock, which means it went through MIRC (Musical Instrument Reclamation Center) as a factory‑refurbished instrument.
The original serial was replaced as part of their process, and the bass received a full inspection and setup before resale.
I’ve never found any issue with it — it plays great, sounds huge, and has only normal cosmetic wear.
