History:
This is a ZERO DSR-P originally designed for police patrol. Zero refers to these bikes as “White Forests” as they are functionally a Black Forest model with the police equipment.
This motorcycle was used by a police agency in Pennsylvania for approximately 700 miles, and was first sold to a civilian (myself) in 2021. It had the police equipment removed by the dealership but an agency buyer could return it to patrol service, as the special wiring harness and connectors are still present.
Range:
It gets between 70 and 90 miles on the highway depending on speed, and between 110 and 130 miles in the city, depending on driving habits.
About 400 MPGe, so quite cheap to drive.
Level 1 (wall socket) charge time ~9 hours from 0%
Level 2 (J1772) charge time ~2.5 hours from 0%
Brake fluid and tires replaced in 2023. Drive belt original, includes a spare unused belt.
Excellent commuter or dual sport bike. Simple and reliable to operate.
