Uses drawings and specifications to accurately lay out projects.
Supervises a crew of several operators/laborers to make sure production targets are hit.
Accurately keep timecards and equipment cards.
Coordinate materials and subcontractors.
Professionally communicate with customer and engineers.
Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.
Uses equipment to prepare building sites.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to interpret drawings and read specifications.
Ability to professionally communicate with a wide variety of people.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Able to work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and terrains.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
