This is the true early version of the cubist / honeycomb pressed-glass goblet — not the later round-base reproductions.
These were made before 1945, most likely in the late 1920s–1930s, during the height of American pressed-glass craftsmanship.
Why these are pre-1945
✔ Hexagonal foot & faceted stem — a hallmark of early pressed glass from the interwar period
✔ Deep, sharply defined cubist pattern rather than the softer post-1950 molds
✔ Thicker, heavier glass walls typical of pre-WWII production
✔ Pattern style matches what smaller regional glass houses made before consolidation in the 1940s
✔ Slight mold irregularities that indicate hand-finishing, not modern mass-production
These are considered the better-quality version that collectors look for.
