Looking for Apartment/Studio/Room to Rent - Quiet/Clean Female Mid-30s (Charlottesville / Waynesboro)

Hello!
I am a female in my early/mid-30s looking for new housing in the Charlottesville area (or within a 30 minute radius). I am professionally trained (speech-language pathologist) currently making a career shift. I have no pets, but do have a little posse of plants, so sunlight is a plus (but not necessary).
Ideally, I am looking for a small apartment or studio to rent that is affordably priced. I am also open to renting a room with a private bathroom; ideally in a home with other females or a couple. Washer and dryer in unit or on site is a plus, but kitchen space is less of a priority as I do minimal cooking. Move-in dates are somewhat flexible: I am hoping to move in anywhere from late June to October.
A little more about me! I love to travel and love the outdoors. I love to read, write, and am a wine enthusiast. My top priorities from a shared living space (or property manager) are responsiveness, politeness, and cleanliness - and I always endeavor to offer the same!
