I have 52 large tomato cages made from concrete reinforcement wire, selling for $5.00 each. . They are five feet tall and have an 18" diameter. The wire opening is large enough for you to place your hand through and still be able to remove a large tomato. I have had tomato plants grow to the top of the cage and continue to grow half way back towards the ground, producing tomatoes all the way. Cages like these will last more than fifty years.
