This extraction process works well, when having only 2 or 3 hives. The wooden structure sits on the plastic tub. Using a knife I cut the caps off the frames into a pan and placed the frames in the unit upside down. Honey will flow by gravity and be completed in 3 to 5 days Unit holds 9 frames.
