Old hand-knotted Persian oriental carpet. Rare blank/empty red main field, without usual patterns or designs. Genuine wool and handmade in Kashan area of Iran, approximately 1950s. Measures 41" x 74" (3'5" x 6'2"). Main field is red, with blue, gold, black/gray and and white in the border. Clean and in vintage condition (see photos).
