This is a solid and heavy piece of furniture that will take 2+ strong people to move. It is a contemporary style and was handmade by a local carpenter and artist. We used it as a standing desk, but it is such a beautiful piece, it could also be appropriate in a family room or large hall, artist handy-person workstation, etc. In other words, it could go as a pretty piece of furniture in the home, or be more utilitarian. It cost 3X what we are asking, and is in excellent condition. There is a slight fault on one spot which I show in the last photo, and another rub on the corner shot. For perspective, the guy in the photo is 6'3".
