What you'll do:
At Custom Ink we deliver the "WOW" to our customers; in Team Environment we work together to deliver the "WOW" to our Inkers. In this role, you will juggle many "plates" to ensure smooth, reliable day-to-day office operations.

Located in Charlottesville, Virginia, the Team Environment Coordinator will help make the magic happen by coordinating services and activities to create a comfortable and uplifting workplace that takes care of our Inkers. Your work will directly impact team satisfaction so you must understand what it means to be an Inker and demonstrate our Core Values in all that you do. Accordingly, you must effectively prioritize projects and tasks, appreciate and attend to the smallest details, and be hungry to tackle everything that comes your way. You will report to the Team Environment Associate Manager and work closely with Team Environment, other internal team members and outside vendors to support Custom Ink as a great place to work.

A typical day in the office may include:

Creating and maintaining an environment to support our Inkers
Ensuring the look & feel of our office, promoting positivity and reinforcing our Core Values, character, and personality
Collaborating with Team Environment and Inkers represented company-wide from coast-to-coast
Communicating using the Custom Ink "Communication Lense"
Assisting in the planning and execution of company events, contributing to local events to ensure Inkers have opportunities to participate and connect with other Inkers
Optimizing satisfaction, presentation, and cost of meal, snack and beverage services
Keeping team members safe through office/facilities compliance and emergency planning/training, helping to develop associated policies/procedures/action plans
Celebrating and recognizing team member life events
Managing facilities ticketing system
To that end, you must be personable, helpful and responsive, and be able to effectively address immediate office and facilities-related issues alongside event planning and project work. Finally, you will also contribute to Team Development-related initiatives and offer general administrative support to various team members and leaders.

How you'll be measured:
Custom Ink believes strongly in helping ease the unnecessary stress and distractions that work and life sometimes present. Accordingly, the key measures of success for this role will be:

Positive tone and impact on environment
Team satisfaction with events, programs, workspace, facilities, and food
Timely resolution of facility and office-related requests/problems
Ability to stay within budget and assist in cost savings
Safe, secure, compliant facility
Effective space planning and smooth internal workstation moves
Over time, we will establish quantitative metrics and goals in each of these areas.

What we're looking for:
This role is critical to overall team satisfaction and supporting Custom Ink as a great place to work. Accordingly, the ideal candidate will be strong in the following areas:

Proven track record of performance and being a team player
Positive, customer-focused, results-oriented attitude
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated creative problem-solving and flexibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and all aspects of Google Docs
Graphic design and/or photography skills are a plus
Experience in event planning or the restaurant/hospitality industry
Experience with office administration systems/procedures
Experience with OSHA compliance standards is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8am-12pm (20 hrs per week).
In addition, you must share our Core Values--practicing the Golden Rule, taking Ownership and driving and embracing Innovation.

This position requires a high level of flexibility to assist the team at the time help is needed the most, and may require weekend or evening availability on an on-going basis.
