Scammers please note: I will not use your shady info-stealing website to pay for a VIN check. I will however provide a clean vehicle history report from AutoCheck by Experian (listed on the FTC website).

For sale is my 1997 Jeep Wrangler with 4.0 Inline Six and 3-speed automatic transmission so I don't have to keep moving it around the country or garaging it with my family due to my work.

This vehicle is a TON of fun and extremely eye-catching. It had a total frame-off rebuild in 2013 while I owned it (will include a disk with the pictures of the process) and an earlier engine refurb by a previous owner. During the rebuild the frame was painted inside and out, the tub was painted the bright yellow (some say green, I think they are crazy), custom front / rear bumpers were added, custom rock rails added, and a Ford 8.8 rear axle was added with 4.10 gears and a Lock-Right PT-1822 auto locker. It sits on low mileage Couragia M/T tires, and is ready to rock and roll for you!

This Jeep is a beast, but I'm ashamed to say I pretty much babied it during the last 11 years. It's been on some trails and a few mud puddles, but nothing living up to its capability and has mainly been a summer cruiser for me back and forth to work or out on the weekends. It's been garage kept 8 of the last 11 years and has seen less than 12,000 miles during that time. This Jeep has absolutely no meaningful rust on the body or frame (I encourage you to crawl around under it - it is super clean).

It comes with the sweet half doors (with zipper window uppers), tube doors, and old-but-still-functional soft top.

Notable features:
-Lifted (24.5" to the top of the rock rails / 34.5" to the bottom of the door opening)
-4.10 gears
-Ford 8.8 rear end with disc brakes (can provide spec sheet from East Coast Gear Supply)
-Lock-Right auto locker in rear
-Heavy duty tube steel custom welded front and rear bumpers
-Custom rear swing gate to mount spare tire, jack, equipment.
-Custom rock rails welded directly onto the frame
-LED turn signals in body.
-Hi-lift jack included.
-Great custom paint job throughout
-Low mileage 35" Couragia M/T tires (including spare)
-Superwinch winch
-Wired driving lights, fog lights, and backup lights
-Gas tank skid guard

Cons:
-Fuel gauge not currently working (worked when parked for the winter - yeah I know, everyone says that - so probably an easy fix).
-Intermittent check engine light. Throwing a DTC 42 & 43. One appears tied to the fuel gauge, and the other from what I can tell is likely a fuel injector. For true Jeep guys likely an easy fix (I'm at peace now that I was an enthusiastic poser).
-Seats and dash are a bit tired.

Buyer will need to sign bill of sale and sign over the PA title with a notary (I will pay notary fee). I'm open to reasonable offers. Not looking for any vehicle or equipment trades, but am always interested in US WWI military equipment in partial trade.
