01E Security Officer Core Subjects is the basic Security Officer training required to obtain DCJS certification to work as an armed/unarmed security officer or an armed security officer in the state of Virginia.

05E Armed Security Arrest Authority provides the students with knowledge of Constitutional Law, Virginia Law, and DCJS regulations regarding Arrest Authority. It is required, with the Security Officer Handgun (075E) course, to move from an Unarmed Security Officer to Armed Security Officer.

75E Security Officer Handgun is required for those who will perform the duties of an Armed Security Officer. The student will be required to qualify with each caliber of handgun he/she intents to carry or have immediate access to while on duty.
