This is a beautiful piece of vintage crewel embroidery, hand-stitched in wool yarn on linen, featuring a bold floral motif. The embroidery area measures 12 ½ “ X 13 ½ “; framed area measures 14 ½” X 15 ½ “. This is “Early American/Jacobean” style. My mother stitched this in the 1960s or 1970s. Nice wooden frame (but with no glass). $75 cash or Venmo.
